The Priceless Path
The 44th letter to you.
I never regret what I have done and said in the past, as it has led me to be who I am today. It’s not that I have forgotten the past, but I believe the past exists only in memory, and not in the physical world where I am present now. And the path I am walking on leads me to a brighter future. There’s no detour, and no going back.
Regrets won’t change anything that has already been done and said; only by being aware of what happened and learning from it can I avoid making the same mistakes. I learn from my experiences no matter how negative, hard, or bad they have been. I still keep myself from thinking “what if?” There’s no “what if” in this world, and there’s no pause or rewind button to change what has happened in the past.
I have read so many books and listened to many stories from everyone who has come into my life, either through the internet or in real life, which has helped me understand and learn more about people and myself.
It’s painful and agitating to regret a past that no longer exists in the present moment. It steals away the peace and joy we could experience in the present. Living with regret pains us and takes away our focus from what’s most important right here and now. I just want to own every mistake I have made in the past and learn from it with no regrets. Because peace is my priority, and the peace from within me is priceless.
